Capital for companies that will be remembered.

Jethro.vc backs AI-native founders at the moment their product is real and their story is not yet. Then we build the story, open the doors, and stay for the long arc.

Thesis

Attention is the asset.

Every generation of technology creates a new scarcity. Compute was scarce. Then data. Now the scarce thing is belief: a market's willingness to pay attention, and to keep paying it.

AI collapses the cost of making things. It does not collapse the cost of being chosen. The companies that define the next decade will own both a generative engine and a reason to be believed. One without the other is a feature, or a brand with nothing behind it.

We invest where the two meet. Founders who have built something that works, in a category they can name, with a story that has not yet been told at scale. We lead rarely, follow deliberately, and treat narrative as infrastructure rather than decoration.

Cinematic intelligence

Generative and predictive systems for creative, media, and commerce. The tools that turn a brief into a finished experience, and the platforms that will distribute it.

Applied AI inside the enterprise

Agents, workflow, and the connective layer that puts AI into a Fortune 500 P&L. Companies that sell an outcome, priced against the cost it replaces.

Founder-named categories

Businesses that create the language for what they do, and can hold that language when larger players arrive. Category is a moat when it is earned early.

The Fund

A fund, and a network around it.

Jethro.vc invests through a dedicated fund. Alongside it sits a syndicate footprint built over years: the Board of Governors at Pasadena Angels, the Board of Governors at TCA Venture Group, and general-partner positions in more than ninety private equity firms.

That footprint gives a portfolio company something a single check cannot. A second conversation, a third, and a path from the first angel round to the growth capital that comes later. We write the first check, and we know who writes the next one.

Terms, size, and structure are shared directly with qualified investors and founders.

Advisory

Most of what a company needs at seed is not money.

It is judgment, narrative, and doors. Capital is the entry point. The work is what compounds.

Advisory at Jethro.vc runs in three forms. A company may engage one, or all three. Every advisory relationship is a candidate for investment. No advisory relationship is a condition of one.

I

The Narrative

Positioning, the investor story, and capital-markets communications. What the company is, why now, and why the number on the last slide is credible. Built from two decades making brands for Apple, Netflix, and American Express, and from the investor-relations desk of a public company.

II

The Engine

AI research and development, applied. Where AI belongs in the product, the go-to-market, and the operating stack, and where it does not. Drawn from leading AI R&D at TCA Venture Group and from building Ritual Ads, a cinematic intelligence studio serving Fortune 500 brands.

III

The Table

Board service, syndicate access, and introductions that are warm because the relationship is real. Angels, funds, corporate buyers, and the private equity partners who matter three rounds from now.

  1. 01

    Read

A two-week diagnostic. Product, market, numbers, and the story as it exists today. It ends in a written point of view on what is true and what is missing.

  2. 02

    Write

The thesis, the deck, and the narrative system behind them. One sentence the founder can say in an elevator and a board can defend in a diligence call.

  3. 03

    Build

Six-week sprints with the founding team on AI and go-to-market. Working sessions, not memos. The output is shipped, measured, and revised.

  4. 04

    Open

Introductions, syndicate formation, and a seat at the table when it helps. The relationship continues as long as it is useful to the company.

Structure. Advisory is structured as equity, a retainer, or a combination, agreed before any work begins.

Capacity. A small number of companies each year. Depth over volume.

Fit. Founders with a working product, a real market, and the ambition to be the name people use for the category.
